Stress is something we all deal with. Stress levels may vary, and sometimes stress is so intense, it can interfere with work, cause big challenges in our relationships, and sometimes even be debilitating.

I love to use essential oils to help calm anxious emotions. I’ve got my own favs, and I keep them near my nightstand and in my purse. I dealt with anxiety for many years, but as I started using essential oils every day, I saw a big turnaround.

It’s exciting, and still amazing to me that essential oils can help in a major way. It almost doesn’t seem possible that something so small and simple could make such a real difference! But they do!

Here are a few of my favorite essential oils and blends to help with anxious feelings and stress (I use Doterra essential oils, you can read here if you want to know why).

My Favorite Oils for Anxiety:

  • Balance
  • Wild Orange
  • Grapefruit +
  • Jasmine
  • Neroli
  • Roman Chamomile

I carry one or more of these oils in my purse. I get one out when I’m feeling out of balance emotionally. Just one little oil application can literally take me from anxious to calm in a matter of seconds.

So here’s what I suggest doing to keep anxious emotions in balance using essential oils:

  1. Put a grounding oil on your feet every morning right when you wake up:
    • Balance
    • Lavender OR
    • Peace
  2. Put on your favorite oil as you get ready for the day (wrists, behind ears)
    • Any oil in the Emotional Aromatherapy Kit
    • Jasmine OR
    • Neroli
  3. Diffuse oil during the day
    • Wild Orange
    • Grapefruit
    • Lavender
    • Balance OR
    • Any oil in the Emotional Aromatherapy Kit (not the roller bottle kit though)
  4. Carry oils with you and roll them on during the day when you feel anxious
    • Any oil in the Emotional Aromatherapy Kit

  5. Put a grounding oil on your feet before bed:
    • Balance

    • Peace
